Get your blender ready to go, and let’s dive in!
-
Mixed Berry Smoothie

Our Easy Vegan Mixed Berry Smoothie includes protein powder in the recipe, making it an easy go-to if you’re looking for a post-workout smoothie, while if you’re enjoying it at home, you can top it with extra fruit or add syrup to make it as indulgent as you wish.

Strawberry Smoothie

Do you know what else smoothies are great for? Hiding ingredients that children - and grownups! - might not ordinarily like or want to eat. With that in mind, here’s a secret: Our Strawberry Smoothie contains 1 ½ cups of frozen cauliflower! We won’t tell if you don’t, and no one will ever know it’s there.
This is a beautiful smoothie for the entire family and tastes best when made with Elmhurst’s Unsweetened Almond Milk.
-
Apple Pie Spice Smoothie

We’re counting our Apple Pie Spice Smoothie as a five-ingredient treat, as you don’t necessarily need to use the handful of ice suggested in the recipe!
If you’re reading this outside of the fall season when our Apple Pie Spice Blend is on sale, try making it with our Unsweetened Cashew Milk or Unsweetened Oat Milk and add extra cinnamon to get the taste you want.
-
Avocado Green Smoothie

Hands up - we’re cheating with these last two suggestions, as they both include six ingredients, so we’re going to suggest which one you can leave out to make it a five-ingredient smoothie.
Recipes are just a starting point and a guide anyway, right?
Our Avocado Green Smoothie includes a teaspoon of cinnamon, which you can leave out if you want to stick to the five-ingredient rule, leaving you with the beautiful sweetness of the banana and the subtle nuttiness of avocado.

-
Raspberry Muffin Smoothie

You can hold the cinnamon again when making our Raspberry Muffin Smoothie, especially if you plan on adding any of the optional extras we suggest!
This one tastes best blended beautifully with our Unsweetened Oat Milk.
Make Your Smoothies Your Own!
All of our smoothie recipes are easy to adapt depending on what you like - and when you’re planning to drink your smoothie.
- If you’re making your smoothie for a post-workout snack, consider adding a scoop of protein powder to promote recovery. Remember to maintain the consistency by adding more Plant Milk if you need to!
- If your smoothies are for breakfast, a snack, or meal replacement, use our Unsweetened Oat Milk and consider adding oats to your smoothie if they’re not already in the recipe - or adding more if they are. This is because oats release energy slowly and will keep you feeling fuller for longer, reducing cravings to reach for a sugary snack or drink.
- Play around with the thickness of your smoothie by increasing or reducing the volume of Plant Milk you add to your blender. For fruit-packed smoothies that would work as a sweet treat, try adding minimal amounts of Plant Milk to create a tasty smoothie bowl or nice cream!
