How to Make Vegan Gluten-Free Waffles

Ingredients:

  • • 2 Bananas
  • • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • • 1 ¾ cups Elmhurst Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • • 3 Tbsp Almond Butter (sub with any nut butter)
  • • 4 cups Gluten-Free Rolled Oats
  • • ¼ tsp Salt
  • • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • • 1 ½ tsp Baking Powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat waffle iron according to instructions.
  2. Place all wet ingredients into a high speed blender. Add all dry ingredients on top and blend for about 1-2 minutes, or until everything is combined and completely smooth.
  3. Scoop around ¼ cup of batter into each waffle section of your waffle maker and cook according to the waffle iron's instructions. Repeat the process until all of the batter is gone.
  4. Serve waffles immediately and enjoy with maple syrup and fresh fruit!
