We’ve already said you can swap with any nuts above – but you don’t need to wait until you’ve used all your almonds to try something new!
Our favorite alternative nuts for this recipe are walnuts, pecans, and hazelnuts – but if you want to get even more creative you could try sunflower or pumpkin seeds. If you go for seeds, you can mix these in rather than using your food processor!

If lemon doesn’t tantalize your taste buds, swap the lemon juice and zest for lime or grapefruit.
