Vegan Walnut Sherry Vinaigrette

When you find the perfect vinaigrette dressing, it can pair with almost any vegetable, salad, or even as a grain bowl compliment. This Vegan Walnut Sherry Vinaigrette is just that: perfect. The vinaigrette is made with sherry vinegar, Elmhurst Unsweetened Milked Walnuts™, walnut oil, maple syrup, and a blend of other flavors. When combined, it’s full of walnut flavor with just the right amount of sweetness to balance it all out.
Ingredients and Directions

Ingredients

  • 2 cups walnut oil
  • ½ cup Elmhurst Milked Unsweetened Walnuts
  • ½ cup sherry vinegar
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Place the Unsweetened Milked Walnuts, sherry vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into a blender and mix until well combined.
  2. Slowly add the walnut oil as the blender emulsifies the oil and vinegar.
  3. Fold in the walnuts.
