Chocolate Avocado Smoothie
There are endless reasons for choosing the satiating ingredients of milked almonds, avocado, banana, and cacao.
Milked Almonds “pack 18 whole, raw almonds into every glass.” Almonds are a good source of protein, vitamin E, mono and polyunsaturated fats, calcium, and potassium.
According to the California Avocado Commission, avocados are a “nutrient dense food that provide substantial amounts of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients with relatively few calories.”
Bananas give the smoothie its main sweetness component and add a significant source of several vitamins and minerals, especially potassium, vitamin B6, and vitamin C.
Finally, not only is 100% cacao powder rich, it “contains more than 300 different chemical compounds and nearly four times the antioxidant power of your average dark chocolate - more than 20 times than that of blueberries.”
