This Green Smoothie is packed with all the greens, nutrition, and flavor while remaining low in sugar.
There are zero extra sugars added to the recipe, and the only place sugar is found is naturally via a small portion of banana.
The Green Smoothie is made with the base of an unsweetened plant-based milk, the Elmhurst Unsweetened Hazelnut Milk. It is made with two simple ingredients– 11 whole raw hazelnuts plus filtered water.
The other ingredients that make up this Green Smoothie include: avocado, hempseed, kale, spinach, and cinnamon.
In our Green Smoothie, we also added in 1 tsp moringa for even more nutritional benefits, but if you don’t have it and/or don’t care to use it, the ingredient can easily be left off.
